Tip of the day
A call to all experienced players out there, give a quick tip, perhaps something that you know, or find clever about pretty much anything in EB, someone doesn't!
I would humbly begin with something pretty useful and ongoing in my current campaign: Use multiple spies when infiltrating cities, they will ALWAYS open the gates.

Re: Tip of the day
Every single cavalry unit in EB has a secondary weapon. Usually it's quite useful, too.
All swords that look like bananas can pierce armour. They're also wielded by a majority of Hellenistic and Iberian units.
Deploying archers in rows 3 or less deep supposedly makes them more effective at range.
Many factions can bribe Uirodusios but only barbarian ones can train them.
Romans can bribe Rhodian slingers but can't train them.

When fighting the Romans, Macedon, Ptolemies or any other power where the geography of their home regions creates bottlenecks, never underestimate the value of naval invasions to bypass their main armies.
