Uncomfortable Supervisors on Sweboz
Playing a campaign on Sweboz and quite much all my FM's are getting Uncomfortable Supervisor trait unless they're in a city with over 5000 inhabitants, which I find rather weird. They're getting pissed unless they're governing cities that were really big by local standards?
Or is it meant to model the willingness of the FM's to show courage and achieve victories through battle instead of governing towns..?
Re: Uncomfortable Supervisors on Sweboz
they are Sweboz afterall, must be uncomfortable with paperwork as usual
Re: Uncomfortable Supervisors on Sweboz
Don't think of your FMs as lazy(although they become lazy^^) think of them as ambitious and proud.
they don't like beeing "dumped" in a small, remote, provincial city with nothing going on, while their cousins are bashing in roman helmets ( actually I am reffering to Asterix) and get all the glory for themselves. they get the feeling of not beeing liked by the nobles' council and rather go to the local inn to get drunk and forget all about it. which is an option as they don't hae utterly much to do.
afaik sweboz(and nomads) get the trait rather easy compared to other civs. not only because of the smaller settlement size.
Re: Uncomfortable Supervisors on Sweboz
Yes, that trait indicates they are getting restless and bored. They want more of a challenge.
I suppose the bar should have been set lower for the Sweboz as they had practically no organized government, so even running a small town would have been a big job. On the other hand, unfamiliarity with governing would have made them uncomfortable in big cities anyway.
Re: Uncomfortable Supervisors on Sweboz
Well, the silly fact is that the beardy warlords seem to really like running big cities on my games, but I guess the current version offers enough realism without too much coding trouble.
