Difficulty modding export_dscr_unit - file won't save.

Hi there,

New to the forums here. I am having trouble editing some unit stats. I am editing units and trying to decrease the costs of a unit. When I save the file, and start the game, the units cost are unchanged. When I go back to the file that I modded it reverts back to the original stats.

Any help would be appreciated.

The trivial script uses the back up EDU each time it starts to replace the one in EB\Data.

So make your chances to the back up single or multi player EDU.

Be sure to read the FAQ and the other important information threads.

when making changes to the EDU you need to copy it after changing it and paste over top of the 1's in the MP backup and SP backup

not sure if the MP backup matters but i do it anyway.

Great idea, copy the changed file over the MP file...
There's a reason for Trivial script and different EDUs, maybe it's not very clever when you overwrite the MP EDU with an changed SP one?
