Journalists are 'persons affected with mild mental retardation'
60 years since World War 2 finished. 20 years since Soviet Union Crashed.
And these idiots still call GERMAN NAZIS DEATHCAMPS polish deathcamps.
Mostly American journalists - European slowly (really slowly) start using their brains.
Telling the truth I always shared opionion that jounalists are generally stupid (maybe there are some exeptions but not many) but American achieved new level of "moronism".
I have been thinking about good comparison that might remain into their brains (or remaining of brains). But I did not invent anything good enough. So I need some help.
As for now best comparison I invented is "American solders captured on Philippines were sent to Japanese not American deathcamps".
Re: Journalists are 'persons affected with mild mental retardation'
Silly foreign journalists get a whole lot wrong. It should be:
'Former German trade hub Danzig'
'Former German industrial powerhouse Breslau'
:wink3:
Re: Journalists are 'persons affected with mild mental retardation'
Probably the confusion based on the fact they are situated in Poland. So in a way, calling them 'Polish Deathcamps' is not technically incorrect, though 'Nazi-controlled Polish Death camps' or 'World War 2 Death camps' should be used to prevent upsetting people.
Re: Journalists are 'persons affected with mild mental retardation'
It is also tiresome when the camps are referred to as 'German death camps' without any mention of the extraordinarily small number of Germans who actually had anything to do with them. A more apt name would be 'Heinrich Himmler's SS-controlled and Jewish/Eastern European operated death camps'. Of course, expecting such nuance from the media may be asking too much...
Re: Journalists are 'persons affected with mild mental retardation'
Theory about localistation in Poland is not accurate.
Most of deathcamps were on areas that were not polish before ww2 and were given Poland after war.
Louis mayba just Gdańsk (Danzig) or Wrocław (Breslau).
How could you feel if I call Dachau French Death Camp only because of French Prisoners.
Re: Journalists are 'persons affected with mild mental retardation'
What is the fuss here? I've never heard the mention of Polish death camps until today :-?
Even worse, I'm a journalist and never thought about using this expression. Am I even dumber than other journalists?

Now ask if the German people knew about the atrocities. It was not an "extraordinarily small number of Germans." There were about 1,500 camps in all, about 20 main camps. Now who do you think ran all these places?
Your apologetic stance on this subject is disturbing.

Do you have any links?
Don't worry no one thinks Poland has anything to do with the death camps.

This thread is a danger to the free citizens of the Monastery. It is to be executed forthwith.
As luck would have it, below a 'Jewish run and Polish-Texan operated former German beheading instrument of the Guillotine':

My first girlfriend was a hairy, fifty year old Polish lumberjack. He came over to fix our garden, then I fell in love with his mighty plumber's crack. :balloon2:
I still have his picture, which I, erm, 'use' whenever I'm 'lonely':
