Hall Of Fame categories for MP here at .Org

I have compiled a list of MP catergories for HOF for .Org that we can use in this year's HOF for .Org (HOF 2010) and contiune onwards (HOF 2011 onwards) also. I believe that last year we didn't have a large section of catergories (only 3). I think we should reward players for their skill, good/funny behaviour,etc.....

I'm not saying we have 1,000 categories, then HOF be useless then, but I'm just saying, we need more then 3. I compiled a list of categories for the TW games I think we should be holding the HOF for. Please vote and comment on your picks for the categories. The categories, from experience I know this, will not be added in unless there is enough support for these.



TW Games:
NTW
ETW
RTW
(STW/MTW 1 not enough players ofc, MTW2 not much ethier).


2010 MP Lifetime Achievement award-
Awarded to someone who helped TW MP greatly in the past 10 years.


For RTW/ETW/NTW:
Most Feared Player/Clan
Most Honorable Player/Clan
Most Skilled Tactician
Most Flameboyant Player
Most Creative Player/Clan
Most Helpful Player
Best Newcomer
Best Clan Website

Not sure, its a tough call.

This year had basically nothing. but thats because most MP is dead.

For 2010, i think the same applies, mostly. :shrug:

But in the future? I'm not sure. A lot of categories for each game, to me, takes the meaning out of it, but you want a decent amount there so you can appropriately reward the community members.

Just throwing that thought in there.

2009 I will admit was dead. 2010 I believe it was better in maybe a smaller way tournament wise, and RTW did pick up a bit. Hopefully 2011 MP comes out of it's dead stupor.

I will argee with you Pever on the number to a point. I don't want to many categories because yes, it will take the meaning out of it, but to few and maybe to many derserving folks will go without reward.

Any year had just suggested, obvious and likely to be popular categories. There's always been room for others. About the only consideration is that it's constructive and will likely get more than one contender for that category. There won't be a 'worst MP player who also happens to be administrator and dutch' category.

Too much dilution might not be nice either, such as 10 members and all listed in 10 categories.

It's good to think about which categories to add for this years HOF. Also: which TW games should they refer to, which ones are played, should there be an overall?

I can take so many of the top 'winning' categories in this poll and I can always make a new poll and say to the voters "OK, What ones do you want to be in the HOF?" if you guys want.
