This game is gooing to be a trial balloon, so it will be a rather quick and short game.

NAVAL WORLD WAR 2 BATTLE

Do not hesitate if you know nothing about the war on water - neither do I.

The game is supposed to start in Januar - after holiday season.

Seeing as almost everyone picks axis I'll pick allies. I was waiting to see which side King Kurt would chose as this is a naval IH but I just can't wait that long.

First goal: having more dashing uniforms than the enemies.

Hi to all players, there are 13 now and almost equally divided in the two teams. A great new year to all of you! I hope you are all waiting joyfully for the start. I am already busy and I can tell you that the game will be at the end of 1940.

Just saw this. I'd like to join too if spots are still available. Would prefer Axis but I'm willing to join any side you want.

So Franc has started to tease us with snippets of information!!
1940 means no US or Japanese - so it German or Italian (or both!!) vs the Royal Navy - foregone conclusion if you ask me..... unless we are on HMS Hood!!

I'd expect this to take place in the Mediterranean Sea, as there were some major naval engagements fought there at the end of 1940.
