Going crazy right under someone's nose
No, this isn't about me ............ entirely.
I'm getting into tabletop RPG's and I want to play a certain character. It's a humorous game with amongst others a time traveling caveman and a robot trying to understand human emotions.
I'm planning to play the most normal character, a social inept teenage boy, but I want to make him the craziest of the entire bunch.
Randy is the little brother of a barmaid. She's the only one he can really talk to, no wonder he gets overprotective at times.
I want to scale his behavior up little by little so that my fellow players suddenly realize how far gone Randy really is although it was happening right under their noses.
Any suggestions?

just model his personality after me: it solves many problems here :clown:

Start with lots of references to his sister, then have him start talking to her (thinking out loud) when she's not around, then have him speak to everyone else as if they were her. Then we can get him to start dressing as a barmaid... :laugh4:

Slowly turn him into Gollum, with the precious being his sister.
Eeeww.

Well AFAIK the adventure starts of in the bar with my sister (she's an NPC) so I'll plan on eyeballing everybody who looks at her and go from there.I aslo have her diary in my inventory maybe I'll read it out loud as unaware that somebody else is there somewhere along the line.

My 'sister' as an imaginary friend is a really great idea. Maybe i should make a sock puppet or something eventually.
The dressing up as a barmaid ..... well, I could start with the sock puppet on my hand and work down from there.
