Random CTDs all of a sudden

I played this mod a good bit back in December/early Jan, with no CTDs, then took a 2 weekish break and started playing intensly again. However now CTDs will happen randomly. Usually 1-3 hours it takes. And I noticed it's often before, during or after a battle, but not always.

Tried all retroactive permanent fixes
But I admit I haven't tried it without the EB script, but I don't really want to play without the script...
I've had long sessions (3 hours or more :P) of EB about 5 times, and it's always crashed. I haven't played for anything shorter than an hour.
And the year is roughly 236BC I think. (faction Arverni)

In the frequent issues are some suggestions to get across random crashes. Two of them will surely help you, don't play longer than an hour and wait after a battle before returning to the campaign map.
Please check the version number in EB's main menu.
If it crashes during battles, disable the cutscenes and upgrade your graphics drivers.
