Collected thoughts and observations

Over the years I've spent at the Org, I've collected a few thoughts and observations.

• When you're the only active one holding down the fort, don't act like it, especially around the one who employs you.
• Don't try to argue your case with your employer. It will not end well.
• Don't say [insert overly-complex strategy game by Paradox Interactive] sucks.
• Don't say Stardock sucks.
• The forum's theme will eventually change again. Deal with it.
• People will hate the forum's theme. When it changes, they will demand that it be changed back to the old theme. Go figure.
• If you wish to keep your sanity, stay out of the Backroom.
• Don't try to argue with someone when they say that Shogun: Total War is the best TW game evar. You'll be saving your brain cells a lot of damage.
• The above applies to Morrowind in the Elder Scrolls series as well.
• Don't try to argue with someone when they say that Rome: Total War is the worst TW game evar.
• Always agree with Texan members. They have firearms and know how to use them.
• Avoid the Entrance Hall like the plague.
• The Gameroom is 99% Mafia, 1% originality.
• Worksafe porn is in the Frontroom. If you are a history professor, your worksafe porn is in the Monastery.

Totally agree on this one.

• Never argue that the .Org in its current state is better than it was a year ago.
  Things will get messy if you do.

As this is a discussion topic about the Org, I'll move it to the Watchtower.

Never post something that belongs in the Watchtower in the Frontroom. ~;)
