National Classics Championship
Hello Fellow EB-Players
This is semi-related to EB, but I think I can best come here for advice.
My latin teacher (yes I'm stil in high-school) made me join the National Classics Championship after I've won a 30-questions classics quiz in class. A few weeks ago I went to the regional finals in a team with another guy from my school. First we beat the other schools in a 50-questions round with questions about mythology, history and philosophy. After that I had to answer 5 questions against my former teammate, which I won on the question who wrote the eight book of de bello gallico, so now I'm in the national finals.
And here's my problem, the theme of this quiz is money, so along with questions about mythology, history and philosophy I can expect (just like in the regionals) some questions about money in the classical world, where do I find more information on this subject?

Congratz !
I cannot respond properly to this because the little generic books about numismatics I read were in French, btw I'll see this monday when my library opens again. But if you have some specific questions about it do not hesitate, I'm studying numismatics in Ancient World at this time :)
Re: National Classics Championship
Try Howgego, C, Ancient History from Coins (Approaching the Ancient World). For te basis, I think this is good.
