Help me please (installation of EB)

Hello all,

As you can see I'm new to the forum. Today I tried to install EB. Wen I tried to install the game an error was present.
It said Rome TW wasn't installed in the folder it had automatically selected. I checked it and, indeed, it was the correct folder so I ignored it and continued installing.

Now EB is installed and when the game tries to start an error message occurs again, namely: execution of comman "....." failed (error 2: the system can't find the given file).

I've got Rome TW gold edition installed on my PC so I couldn't install the 1.5 patch. I read on another forum this patch is not necessary because the Gold edition had version 1.5 intrinsicly.

Can you please help me out? :embarassed:

Hello and welcome to the org.

RTW Gold indeed has the 1.5 patch so that's probably not the problem. I had the same problem when installing EB on my new computer and I'd suggest that you check out the EB Bugs and Assistance thread where there would definitely be a thread related to this. If I remember correctly, what I did was to delete everything (EB and RTW) and reinstall them in the same folder.

Ok thanks! I'll try that one then. I'll just reïnstall everything. Do you know how I can keep my saved games? (put a folder on a usb stick or something? and if so which folder? Sorry I don't know anything about this stuff;))
