I find it interesting that the technical writers at the CDC feel secure enough to have the good humor to write something like this. According to people I know, the budget cuts are becoming horrifying.

They just got millions of people to read an emergency preparedness article with no real costs apart from server bandwidth. It's actually a pretty clever move.
