Why are the results hidden, I always like to see them, and even better is to see who voted for what. Not that I am implying that that happened here, but we once even had a junior member who created 6 accounts to vote for his shots, we could trace that this way. But that's not the real purpose, I just like to know who voted what.

Because that's the normal voting protocol. And rest assured you will see the votes when the poll will close, and any attempt to fraud, like multiple accounts, will be penalized and disqualified.

Just thinking I should have entered my other shot of Alesia instead, ah well. Excellent shots this time round, some of them really capture the energy of the battles.

fomalhaut (boy these javascript editors are sure not working :( ), I hate the RSII Water texture, it has no effect and the actual effects it has are awful.

I like the new protocol of not seeing results until the end, makes it more exciting! Plus I seriously doubt anyone would make 6 accounts to vote for themself again *cough* *hroth* *cough*.

the poor water effects are more than made up for in the increase of texture quality everywhere else :)
my shot was just to try and show more than just battles going on the ancient world, we gotta march in pretty places too ^_^

I love The Celtic Viking's eastmeetswest. In the foreground, two soldiers oppose each other, one anticipating the blow from the other; the tension is palpable. Behind them, scores of their comrades already clashing; in front of them, the camera grazes the sight of sword and shield; beneath them, the fallen are strewn about on the hard ground.
An excellent shot.

I thought that might have been from my battle! Indians and Gaesatae are not matched up often. Good thing I voted for it earlier.:laugh4:
