Finally getting the hang of legendary when my Oda campaign crashed and is effectively over
For those who have more experience of legendary:

b) how does one go about making duplicate saves?
a) I've never experienced a totally corrupted save, so I cannot say how common it is. The only save issue I've had is that keyboard scrolling on the campaign map got disabled in one of my saves after the most recent achievement/patch thing. That's annoying, but I've been able to keep playing that save.
b) Just make a copy of the save from the folder when it's at a good back-up point. If you get corrupted, you can overwrite the original with the copy and it will restore you back to that point. The save folder is located here:
C:\Users\...\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Shogun2\
No idea why I've crashed - I hit end year and it cycled through the clans to Shoni and hung there - reloading the save just takes me to the middle of the cycle and it hangs again on Shoni.
Fortunately it was 15 or so and not 200 turns in - but as this was the first legendary campaign I've played where I'd survived that long it is still maddening.
Thanks for the save location - will try doing a copy save every few turns.
