Yes, I forced myself to watch a few parts of it. It was beyond terrible. "Historical experts" spewing "facts" that are questionable or downright wrong in some instances. Horrible CGI effects and acting. It's the kind of crap the History Channel does NOT need, they're trying to attract younger (sorry guys) viewers who prefer flash and no substance, to the older crowd that prefers more intellectual stimulation.
I miss the WWII documentaries.
I remember when I was eleven I stayed up late watching a special on the Eastern Front. Fun times, learned a lot.
i stopped watching after the scene of a mimicking barca... its aweful

Megavideo isn't a thrustworthy flash player. It contains most of the time virusses. Believe me, I experienced it first hand.
I've had a member report that megavideo has virus troubles. Use at your own risk.
ive never had troubles but thanks for the warning :) i can take down the link. its not really neccesary
Good grief. "Thiss issSspartaCarthage!" :smash:
Seriously, what a load of unadulterated crap. Just when we managed to get rid of the worst cliché's about Dzenghis Khan, they give us Hannibal from Hell. What's next? Alexander the Barbarian? The House on Scipio Street?

Even that was 1010000000000000000000000000000000 better.
Except at mark 4:17, that guy sucks. THC always makes the mistake of asking writers, not only historians.

They also did one with Moses. Portrayed him as a military genius. :laugh4:
Plus there is very little info about the actually battles in the Bible.
It's just like Hollywood (or nearly any film studio) doing "history" (or "based on historical events").
Greatest generals and tacticians being portrayed as doing nothing tactical at all.
This is Sparta indeed.
he was fighting poros in india in that scene XD
