A pair of interesting (odd?) occurrences...
Hi all,
Working on wearing down the Seleukid Empire in my Baktrian campaign, 245BC (H/M). A couple of interesting things happened over the past few days that I haven't seen before...thought I might find out if they have happened to others here...
1. I'm focusing on getting two eastern border Seleukid cities to revolt. I've had 1-2 spies in these cities routinely. I kept my spies inside the walls when the cities started revolting...and without any announcement at the end of a turn, my spies apparently died in the revolts! In one city, both of my spies disappeared in the same turn!! No announcement, nothing...the spies just vanished...:stare:
2. I tore apart a small Seleukid army that included two FMs...only a small handful of troops were able to escape me, including each of the two FMs as the lone horsemen remaining from their units, much to my righteous anger. When I returned to the stratmap, I was told that the remaining enemy army disappeared into the hills -- both FMs included! :inquisitive:
I suppose these kinds of things happen, but I haven't seen them before...anyone else?
Re: A pair of interesting (odd?) occurrences...
Yeah, I've had "ghosts' of enemy family members that fell victim to the blades of my assassins. Removed from this realm in one turn, they returned to their army the next under a different name out of nowhere. I would remove them again. And again. And for a fourth time. Then they usually stayed dead.
Re: A pair of interesting (odd?) occurrences...
spies tend to die in revolts, because they probably started them... :P

the funnier thing is you can kill your own spy as well
