hey I was thinking we just replace our Kingdoms Britannia game with another.
This time we might do battles rather than autoresolve but it depends what the players prefer. Not sure who will admin this yet but please post here if you are interested in the game - first come first served!
England again :D I'm ok with either fought or AR. I can admin but i'd need you when i'get an unfair advantage for looking at enemy factions.
Heh it's sort of dumb of me to repeat factions but i couldn't resist taking England in a first come - first served scenario. I might be willing to trade based on the battle.method and the player base.
I kind of meant that the places would fill up with the first people that posted, rather than faction choice would be on that basis...like you say we'll see who else is interestedQuote:

Not used to kingdoms nor hotseats, and if you want to have a rematch with the same players id gladly step aside.

Alright with me, if we are claiming factions, I could go for England myself, but would be fine with anything.
I'd like to try the Welsh again - if I may. Something about being the underdog always appeals to me.

I think it would be hard to have a game with fought battles where you can't build forts....it would be very defensive and one or two battles could decide a war between two factions.
I'd do Scotland if Mithridate wants Wales - always enjoy fighting for my ancestors(or against them as last game).
Or we can do some RNG action and then trade factions if we want? Either that or it's first come-first served in which case everyone will hate me for getting England again :rolleyes:

No it wouldn't be fair to him making him take Ireland, seeing as how he is a new player and all. Nightbringer gave me England when I asked for it last time when I was new, so I can take Ireland now. I have some ideas about Irelland anyway. So final setup:
Me as Irleand
Monkey as the Norse
Nightbringer as England
Mithridate as Wales
Ignoramus as Scotland
Aye? Get it set up then.

England takes 2/3 of the world becoming the British Empire, and what countries used to be part of that (sans those naughty Americans) is now the British Commonwealth
Hence it is not correct to call anything UK in this time period. I would instead suggest "Rex Regnum Britannia" very loosely translated as "The King who rules the British Isles" in Latin. Note that I don't really speak Latin but google helped me out with my guesswork for these.
We could also just call it England, since that pretty much summarizes everything that is there. :flame:

The title sounds good, only I think it should be "Rex Regnus Britannia" as Rex is nominative.
Sorry guys but Latin game names are not nearly showbiz enough for me. You'll have to save that yawn-a-thon for another time.
