Throne Room signatures - get 'em while they're hot!
Hey guys, I'll be making signatures for the throne room. I have the following setup, I'd like you to tell me what you think and how many signatures you'll want (basically every player tells me which games he wants covered).
There will be one general Throne Room sig pic with common design. It can say whatever you want, such as "Throne Room General" "M2TW Warlord" "Victor of the Dogs of War" etc. It will mention the Throne Room, that part is non-negotiable , and it will have a common design with other TR only sets, on which I'll decide with Monkey (though I readily accept suggestions for the design)
There will also be specific signatures for each game. The signature will mention the Throne Room, the specific game and the faction played. Optional text might be added. Such as "Clash of Gods! - The Kingdom of England" or "Wrath of the Khan 2: Genghis Khan, Great Khan of Mongolia". The design will be specific for that hotseat game, the text can be whatever you want, so long as there's room to put it.
I will only make sets for those who request one here. I could also refresh and re-invent sets you already have.
Re: Throne Room signatues - get em' wihile they're hot!
Does this apply to hotseats we are currently playing as well as hotseats that have already been completed?
Re: Throne Room signatues - get em' wihile they're hot!
And can we request signatures for TW RPGs as well?
Re: Throne Room signatues - get em' wihile they're hot!
I encourage everyone to take Myth up on his offer of signatures - it'd be cool for everyone to be sporting a throne room sig to show off around the rest of the forum (and TWC too!)
Re: Throne Room signatues - get em' wihile they're hot!
I'd love a throne room inspired fig, it can just be general though as I feel no need to show off my innumerable victories in specific games. :)
Re: Throne Room signatues - get em' wihile they're hot!
Ongoing or completed, hotseat or RPG - if it's been played in the Throne Room you can get a sig for it. I need specific requests and links for the games in question.
Re: Throne Room signatues - get em' wihile they're hot!
I have two requests, if you don't find. Firstly, I would like a signature for the old King of the Romans game. I'd like the text to consist of two lines, the first reading "Sigismund von Mahren" and the second "House Austria". If you could incorporate the Moravian Eagle I would be especially grateful.
Second one's much simple, just a basic signature for the Shogun 2 RPG we're getting together called "Hojo Rising". Here I'd just like the title in the signature and the Hojo clan mon.
Re: Throne Room signatues - get em' wihile they're hot!
No problem Cecil, I'll work on them during the weekend if I'm at home. I've been on a business trip the whole week and am on one tomorrow as well. Might have some time to conjure something up tomorrow night.
Re: Throne Room signatues - get em' wihile they're hot!
Thanks Myth, I'll be waiting patiently.
Re: Throne Room signatues - get em' wihile they're hot!
Working on Cecil's request and a Throne Room sig.
Re: Throne Room signatues - get em' wihile they're hot!
How's this look? I might remove the stylized coats of arms to the left and right if it's too cluttered.

Re: Throne Room signatues - get em' wihile they're hot!
It looks great Myth, and I'm particularly pleased with the layout and the way the "Sigismund von Mahren" text looks. I also agree that removing the extra coats of arms at the edges would make it look better. Do you mind if I suggest some alterations?
Re: Throne Room signatues - get em' wihile they're hot!
Sure, I'm all for making it better. BTW reading the thread, Sigismund was not your character right? Why do you want a sig for him?
Re: Throne Room signatues - get em' wihile they're hot!
Anyone who has a spare couple of hours - Read the KotR threads!! It's a great example of some of the fun we've had in the Throne Room in the past, and IMHO the best game the Org has ever hosted.
Edit: Sorry Myth for going OT. I'll make it on-topic again if I may.
Would you mind making one of the infamous Wolfgang Hummel? I'd like it based off the one you did for Sigismund von Mahern, except with the Hummel coat of arms on the rider and if possible Wolfgang's avatar if you can fit it(if not then that's alright). Also, could you replace the main coat of arms banner with the Swabian Coat of Arms. And could the text be: Wolfgang Hümmel, Prinz of Swabia. ?

Thanks,
Ignoramus.
Re: Throne Room signatues - get em' wihile they're hot!
Sure Ignoramus that can be arranged. Putting the Hummel coat of arms on the rider might be a problem, I'll have to see. This is a model from a screenshot I took in SS, it's from one of the riders of an Imperial Knights unit.
Re: Throne Room signatues - get em' wihile they're hot!
Cecil, write all the changes you'd like to get. I'll work on these on Sunday, I have traveling tomorrow.
Re: Throne Room signatues - get em' wihile they're hot!
First, I agree that those two CoAs at each end should be removed. Second, I'd like you to use this version of the Moravian Eagle (Sorry for not mentioning it in the fist place!) Third, please replace the knight on the right end with the same MII portrait I have as my avatar. I don't know if there's a higher-res version of good quality, but if not I'm fine with the version the website uses. Fourth, I'm a bit embarrassed to say that the font used for "House of Austria" bothers me. Is there a medievalesque font where the uppercase H looks less like a lowercase h?
I hope I'm not asking too much, I really appreciate the effort.
Re: Throne Room signatues - get em' wihile they're hot!
Fair enough, I'll do these as soon as I have the time.

Re: Throne Room signatues - get em' wihile they're hot!
Excellent! Thanks Myth, I really like it!
Re: Throne Room signatues - get em' wihile they're hot!
You're welcome. Now I have to make Igno's request and do a general one for the Throne Room.
