forget to press show me how

I have played Baktria in VH/VH for a week,but then i notice that i have never pressed "show me how" button,should i start all over again?

Yes, you should start over again. Pressing the show me how guy will activate the script, which amongst other things deal with the following:
1) population replenishment. AI is notoriously bad at handling recruitment, and will often depopulate provinces as a result
2) Money assistance for AI factions. Since units are quite expensive, most AI factions will go bankrupt from turn 2 onwards. As a result, they will hardly develop, economically and militarily.
3) Reforms. Without the script, there are no reforms for Saka, Hayasdan, Celtic factions, and the Romans.
