I think he's pointing out that Fall of the Samurai is being sold on Origin. Which isn't that big of a deal as far as I'm concerned. It's not a Valve game and lots of digital distributors besides Steam sell Steamworks titles.Quote:

The game won't be out on Origin for another week, same as everywhere else. Also, the game will be available on Steam for the same price.
Btw, sometimes you can download the game before the official start. That means the game you download can sit on your drive for several days, and you can start playing it only when the game is unlocked by the client. That should help out people with slower DL speed to start the game at the same time as everyone else.
Ok; does this mean that FotS will be being played on EA servers as well as Steam servers?

FotS is a Steamworks game. If you buy it through Origin it'll either give you a key or download the files for you and then install them on Steam. No matter where you get a modern Total War game, it comes back to Steam.Quote:
