Europa Barbarorum doesn't launch on my computer

Hey guys,

I've been trying to make Europa Barbarorum work. First, I downloaded the 1.3 and 1.5 patches, as europabarbarorum.com says that it will work only on Rome Total War 1.5. I then downloaded from europabarbarorum.com the 1.1 mod and the 1.2 patch of the mod. I tried to launch the mod both with and without the 1.2 patch, but it won't launch. When I double-click the icon, the blue "loading" window appears, followed by a black screen, then it crashes to the desktop. Sometimes it will show the RTW screen with the Creative Assembly credits.
