Sangria !
I've been craving to get myself some chilling sangria prepared for quite some time.
I have purchased
.75 lt red wine
.35 lt vodka
%100 apple juice
%100 orange juice
%100 grape juice (I still don't know why I got that)
I also have sugar and icecubes available.
Can I get myself some sangria without fruits themselves ? You got any measured recipes ?

Re: Sangria !
It should do fine, all I remember is waking up on a beach on Llorette de mar in Spain

Re: Sangria !
Don't you put fruit in your sangria?
You can probably get drunk faster by eating the fruit alone.

Re: Sangria !
Okay, here's my experimental stuff.
.75 red wine
.75 apple juice
½ orange
½ apple
½
1 peach
Wine and apple juice put together and refridged for about 2 hours until fruits arrived. Then the fruits mentioned above diced or crosswise sliced as appropriate and added to the jug. Stirred and refridged the jug. I'll take one cup in 2 hours with some ice just to quench my sangrialust. I'll be enjoying the mixture tomorrow.
Hopefully it doesn't go awfully wrong.

Re: Sangria !
I always preferred orange juice to apple juice in sangria myself. But your recipe sounds good all the same. Shame I don't drink anymore. :(

Decent start.

Re: Sangria !
Observation: Citrus fruits flavor DOES enhance sangria.

Re: Sangria !
If my experience, if you just get a box sangria (or a bottle I guess) and then dump loads of fruit into it and throw it in the fridge, it turns out tasting pretty good. The drunkness will come because you won't want to stop drinking it.
What kind of fruit? Oranges are a must. Apples and pears if you want it sweeter and lemons and limes for something more tart, pineapples for both. Throw them all in and you get an EXPLOSION OF FLAVOR.
