Help me .org, your my only hope
Computer Techs of .Org, I call upon your expertise for an issue that has me stumped. My computer has been randomly freezing with occasional BSOD, after 10 seconds or 2 hours of use.
At first I thought it was overheating because my video card was hitting close to 70c. I dusted out my computer and that brought my temp down. But the issue remained.
Next I thought it was my OC settings. I returned everything to its Default settings yet the problem has plagued me still.
Next on my list was to restore it to a date before I was having the issue. Still froze on me.
Rolled back my drivers, didn't help. A program that was recommended to me called whocrashed gives little help in telling me what the error was. I can be playing a game or just browsing the web and it will freeze. Ive tried leaving it alone after a freeze for 30 minutes but it remained unchanged. All sound ceases when it freezes as well, not even a repeat.
Im stumped, another brain is needed. Help me facebook, your my only hope.

That does indeed seem like a temperature issue. Have you checked the seating of your heatsink? Perhaps remove it, reapply paste, and attach it well.

Did/have you over-clocked your RAM?
What's the temperature's of your other components?
Re: Help me .org, your my only hope
Ok guys in know this is a little late in posting but I took your advice and looked at my RAM. It was the only thing that wasnt showing up on Speedfan. I changed some voltages around. Apparently my RAM was set to overclock by default, dunno why. Had to manually lower the voltages and I havent had a crash yet.
Again I want to thank everyone for their input and helping me solve my issue. To all of you;

I had the same problem before. I asked my friend to check my computer and he found out that My computer is out of paste where you put the processor. I don't know what it is or how it is called. He just buy and add it again and my computer is back to normal.
