Excellent mod to get started on your roman history

Just a note to people looking to get interested in the whole Roman thing, before we actually get RTW2

I have been playing this mod for about 12 months now and have continued to play Rome since its release along with each new game CA release.

I have tried other mods, which I liked, but I have to admit this is prob one of the best mods I have played, it is a very deep mod, and has a lot of angles to explore.
The AI can be very tough and it has a long learning curve, but it is really worth taking a look at and the time to enjoy.

I would recommend this to anybody.

And far from Roman only! This mod, more has literally changed my life many years ago when I started playing it. I am historian by education, but before my focus was the Cold War and security studies. After EB that remained my job, but my real interest shifted completely to ancient history, and especially the Hellenistic age, and this where I spend most of my free time. :yes:
