Too much money a bad thing?

A quick question: Is having too much money in the bank a bad thing? Meaning will it make your generals become corrupt or anything similar?

And they start having fun. Not sure which traits exactly but they go in the general direction of them having a good time sitting in your towns , spending your cash and being more prone to be bribed.

worst part is the vices they acquire but corruption all over the place does put a dent on your economy and your subjects moral wich makes your empire and the people in it soft weak effeminate sub humans just watch what happened to tarentum wich used to be one of the strongest greek cities in magna hellas and became weak and corrupt needing the suport of phyrrus when they had the gold and manpower to have protected all the greeks in magna graecia but they where weakminded fools arrogant enough to poke the beast but too cowardly to face it when it came out bitting you for your stupidity and arrogance (always reminds me of the french poking the germans with the versailles stick and then being surprised when the lazy asses decided to get out of bed and kick their asses for their arrogance and stupidity )
