Looking for any solution to the AI suicidal general/daymio issue

Hello, I'm new to this forum (I'm a refugee from total war center/just fleeing recent database errors).

In S2, I find it more difficult than in previous TW games to find any roleplay relation with AI characters. Thos are too few and too superficially represented but also, they are dying soon and are quikly replaced.

In order to change that, I'm trying to find a fix to the ai daymios and generals suicidal tendancies. It might be possible for me to change a thing or two in db tables for the real time battles, (there's also TROM's solution of making generals bow cavalery as in ROTS). I was thinking or decreasing the morale value of generals in the unit tables, etc....

But the hard pat for me, is the auto-resolve thing. I don't know anything about the way it works. As I suppose, the AI vs AI battles are resolved thru that way, does anybody have an idea on how to modify it too have a bigger general surbival rate ?
