Playing in my Egyptian campaign I built a jihad in Rum but I can't point it anywhere. No provinces on the map are lighted as a possible target for it, though all northern Africa previously owned by the Almos is now held by the Spanish which makes it eligible for a jihad. Any ideas what is it?

Almohads are no more, but I think jihad is possible to a province previously owned by ANY Muslem faction. Am I wrong?

u need to lost for jihad. I can send my jihand army on Greece because I lost there but I cant send jihad agains Almoravid's lost Tunisia or Morocco so that is the answer.

From the MTW manual:
"A jihad can only be targeted against a province that has been lost to an enemy – it can only try to re-conquer lost lands, not take new ones."
I am quite sure you can only use jihads to attack provinces that your own faction has lost.

I couldn't point it at any ex-Muslim province when the Almos where still lingering in Cyrenacia. The same happened with ex-Turkish Trebizond. So Trapped in Samsara must be right.Quote:
