Basically you are an border officer in some soviet-style country. You have to follow all these guidelines for who can enter, like they need valid passports and expiration dates as well as entry permits and the issuing city has to be correct and so forth. At first it sounds not very enjoyable, but Id say to try it as its a free download anyways. It really is gripping as you need to deal with as many potential people as you can otherwise your family will starve to death as you are paid per person you check so you cant take forever to check someones documents, yet if you go too quickly you will miss something and you will get penalized. You deal with smuggling, fleeing criminals, bombings, all that stuff. A lot of fun
It got Greenlit on Steam recently and I would definitely buy this game when it comes out.

Re: Papers, Please
According to that trailer, you deny everyone and no one is eligible for entering.

Re: Papers, Please
Not exactly, they throw in enough eligible people to keep you on your toes. If you could just outright deny everyone the game wouldnt be challenging at all.

Re: Papers, Please
I watched the Let's Look At video, it seems quite nice. Should be interesting to see how it ends up.

Re: Papers, Please
The beta is fully functional (though short) and really, really good.
