Re: Massacre in Bangladesh?
I'd say. Geenstijl is almost always ahead of the MSM and almost always have it right, so many dead in just one day would be unheard off. Going to check the labels of my clothing from now on
Re: Massacre in Bangladesh?
Google on kicks back riots over a court verdict of death for crimes against humanity from a Islamist party (Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami) leader, Delwar Hossain Sayeedi, during the 1971 liberation war. And the death toll is at less than 100 on each side.
Re: Massacre in Bangladesh?
No this something else, riots over an collapsed building where clothes were being manufactured, a lot of people dead possibly hundreds. There have apparently been a lot of people killed in the riots following it a few days ago, I don't buy it that it were 2500 but it's pretty nasty
Re: Massacre in Bangladesh?
I don't have anything. Post links, even the ones in gibberish...

Nothing out there, you can have the sparse footage there is but it's way too graphic to post here
Re: Massacre in Bangladesh?
I haven't heard a whisper. Over 1100 dead from the building collapse itself, and the owner will probably be +1 after the trial, but nothing on riots.
Re: Massacre in Bangladesh?
Got footage of people being killed but that is as much as I know, but absolutily riots

I think what's happening is that either you, or whom ever you get your information from, are getting two (possibly three) separate events all going on at the same time in Bangladesh as being connected. The rioting is being done by right wing Islamic parity supporters against Banglasdesh's ruling centre-left secularist party. For 2 reasons, 1st for the life sentence/death sentence for crimes against humanity of an Islamist leader during the Bangladeshi independence war, 2nd for not passing a bunch of fundie wing nut laws like anit-blashpemy, men and women able to mix freely, the usual crap. While this unrest was already going on (it started in February) a garment factory building collapsed and killed 1100 people (mostly women).
So yes there has been rioting and people have been killed during them. The police have faced criticism over unconfirmed reports that live ammo was used on rioters. But it has nothing to do with the garment factory building collapse.

Re: Massacre in Bangladesh?
Does this mean we have to add multi-nationals to the list of WMD's?
Re: Massacre in Bangladesh?
Frag that video was of the Islamic Riots a few weeks ago - I recognized some of the banners/outfits - 3 people were killed and 70 injured - the Police are being accused of using live rounds - the Islamist's were protesting for a series of radical reforms (including hanging atheists...)
it looks like your blogger has crossed some wires to me

I'll take your word for it. Problem with blogs, sometimes they are right way before the media catches up, but sometimes they are also dead wrong.
