[Seeking Permission] Can I use EB's theme music for a podcast?
I'm about to start a pen-and-paper roleplaying game with my regular group. It's a historical game set in the early Hellenistic era (300BC), and we podcast our sessions on our site. One of the features of those podcasts is to have intro/outro music to start and finish each recording.
For this game, I'd really like to use the EB theme music, which I think would really set the scene and enhance things. Is this possible? Quite happy to attribute the music and give credit to its creator, which might generate some additional traffic for the forum in the process.
Re: [Seeking Permission] Can I use EB's theme music for a podcast?
Right. I emailed Morgan Casey, and while he appreciated being asked, said the music was written for the mod, so any permission rests with the team. So the question remains, does anyone have an issue with me using EB's main theme to bookend my podcasts?

Thank you very much. I'll ensure the appropriate attribution when people listen to the sessions and wonder "what is that music?".

I've given EB an attribution post on our podcast site. You can also hear the first episode (with the music opening and closing them) on the site.
