Check out that thread for details. I've noticed that you may deviate a little from the advised path and not screw it up but generally try to stick to it.

I think Pahlava is the most interesting faction in the game, in terms of history, gameplay mechanics and battlefield tactics.
Just out of curiousity, what did you mean by the guide being a little confusing? I thought I'd made it as easy to follow as I possibly could, was it just the language barrier? If some things aren't clear, I could edit it a little.

If you haven't already found out, I can tell you that their most useful unit is the Asavarân-î Dêhbêd.

I can't speak for Aram of Mada, but what I found slightly confusing when I first read it(back in the days of my Pahlavan Campaign) was that the Build order was spread over like 10 pages with large Pictures inbetween. I think it would have been beneficial to start with a condensed list that tells the Reader the Buildorder right away rather than having to "read" the whole guide or look up the list found in the first comment post^^.Quote:

It's good to see that Old but good Posts still get updated at times :) @Moros: Could you add a link to the guide to the FAQ? the current entry is not quite as helpfull as that for the other reforms.
Ps: I actually printed out the map and the list during the Campaign.

Build Advanced Settlement next, then Settled Aristocracy, then you can build the Reformed Government.
If Advanced Settlement isn't in the list of buildings available, you must have mixed up the steps earlier, only thing to do is destroy what you already built and start from scratch. Annoying, I've been there...

The accents can be placed with the ^ key, which is below the "esc" key on my keyboard. Alternatively you can type the whole thing into Microsoft Word or something like that first (it's how I write in foreign alphabets if I have to), but that's a pain in the ass really.
they are called Dehbed Asavara on the site, so you might be just missing them, because of this minor switcheroo.

In short you get a New Barrack, in which you can train quite a lot of troops one of which is the strongest regular unit in game, the Grivpanvar. You also get some nice buildings that improve health , Law, happiness and give you an experience bonus for your troops.
You get to have the third strongest economy and infrastructure in the game (after Rome and Carthage, but really almost on the same level) instead of the pitiful one the regular pastoralism would allow you to have. Meaning you can actually build an empire with Pahlava, unlike Saka and Sauromatae, who are terrible in late game. And yeah, barracks.Quote:

In General you get letters with accents by first typing the Accent(once) and then the letter you want it to be on top of. [^] + [a] = â . Some Need [shift] or [Alt Gr] to work. At least that's how my typeset works.
