One thing that does not divide Norway, apparently, is its love of discussing Norwegian wood. Nearly a million people, or 20 percent of the population, tuned in at some point to the program, which was shown on the state broadcaster, NRK.
How long till I get to watch wood burn on my tv?
Re: One thing that really divides Norway is bark.
Norway doesn't need wood to be devided the language is more than enough. More of a backroom topic though

Yeah I screwed up here, feel free to laugh at me
Re: One thing that really divides Norway is bark.
Norway has already had its wood burning on TV.
Edit: Oh, you are linking to an old article about this very same show.
Re: One thing that really divides Norway is bark.
Both of our links go to February. I heard about it on the radio a couple days ago. I wonder if Norwegians are now watching reruns of wood burning? I just can't wait till I can get some mundane programming for my television. Perhaps our OCD crowd should start out on something not quite as mundane. Maybe watching sheep grazing?
Re: One thing that really divides Norway is bark.
Watching wood burn..... again.

Re: One thing that really divides Norway is bark.
Watching wood burn on telly are for the losers that don't have a fireplace of their own. And you store the wood un-split which makes it hel ved. Logs that are split becomes halv ved or kvart ved if you split it twice. :stare:
Re: One thing that really divides Norway is bark.
If you don't have fireplace, it can be difficult to set wood on fire safely.
