Sometimes I cant build trade posts in newly conquered provinces. There are no in the slot were the existing buildings are, and no option to build a new one. Any ideas?

No bug. You can only build trading posts etc in provinces that have a commodity to trade.

The Strat Guide states that any Port will recieve a very small amount from import tax, but it is a very small amount.. (and you only require a port to collect it..)
