Title pretty much says it all, last thing I want when EB2 comes out is to be delayed do to DDOS on the file's host, a well seeded torrent is generally the best way for mods to be downloaded by fans any way.

That is what was done for the last release, and I think it was a success.

Every release since 0.8x at least. Fans have generally been good at uploading to various mirrors, so it should be sufficient to only release on torrent initially.
