The First Official Screenshot Competition for Europa Barbarorum II
https://i941.photobucket.com/albums/...psbaa9aee6.png
Greetings Europa Barbarorum II fans!
Today we would like to welcome back an old fan favourite: The Screenshot Competition
Many veteran fans will no doubt remember some of the excellent entries which players produced for Europa Barbarorum. To all those fans who are new to Europa Barbarorum we would like to extend a warm welcome, and invite you to take part.
The rules for this months competition are simple:
1. As usual, only one entry per person.
2. Cropping of images to remove the UI is allowed, however any fans who submit images which have been subject to manipulation other than cropping or the EBII graphic enhancement patch, will be disqualified.
3. All players wishing to take part must have posted their entry in this thread before October 1st. Any entries after this will not be considered.
4. The winner will be decided by a popular vote from other fans. A thread will be created to vote in, with the opportunity to cast your vote within ten days of the cometition closing (voting closes October 10th). All votes will remain private until the winner is announced.
The winner will be presented with a unique prize by the EBII team.
....oh, and before anyone asks, yes you can use elephants in your shots.
Good luck everyone and we look forward to seeing your entries!
And thank you to everyone for supporting our work!

Re: The First Official Screenshot Competition for Europa Barbarorum II
Sorry to ask that, but how do you take a snapshot with kingdoms ?
-
Re: The First Official Screenshot Competition for Europa Barbarorum II
Easiest way is just using FRAPS. IIRC, the M2TW inbuilt screenshot method involves copy-pasting or other such nonsense.

From the other thread:
The Siege of Gergovia:

Re: The First Official Screenshot Competition for Europa Barbarorum II
Do you have a title for it, or simply Attachment 14206?
-
Re: The First Official Screenshot Competition for Europa Barbarorum II
Cool! I'll get right on it! Does anyone know if there's a way of zooming in further in M2TW - like with movie_cam in RTW - except for the Cinematic editor? From what I understand the Cinematic editor doesn't work with the Steam version of the game.

The Siege of Gergovia was the title I gave to it in the other thread, so I might as well stick with it.

If you use minimal UI (don't know about normal), you can choose to hide unit cards, map etc under 'UI options' in the pause menu during battle.

Re: The First Official Screenshot Competition for Europa Barbarorum II
By also pressing the scroll-lock key, the interface disappears and the game gets a "cinematic" frame :)

Re: The First Official Screenshot Competition for Europa Barbarorum II
Ehem, there is no UI options in the pause screen and I my keyboard only puts pause instead of scroll lock. Furthermore, I cannot reduce the rada with f2. @Arjos

Re: The First Official Screenshot Competition for Europa Barbarorum II
Hey, anyone know how to activate the cinematic mode, like the one in RTW? As I recall, that only worked for custom games -- but still.
[Edit] And how do you turn off the flags?
-
Re: The First Official Screenshot Competition for Europa Barbarorum II
Push "Scroll Lock" for cinematic mode it works everywhere. As for flags i'm not sure probably a text file somewhere in the mod folder.
