Hi all,
I have the boxed version of the Emperor edition. On the title screen down the side there is a button for DLC with 10 next to it.
Am I to assume that this Emperor edition does not come with the DLC on the disc & I have to download it? The afore mentioned button takes me to a steam page with all the DLC but still with prices.
If I do have to download the DLC where specifically do I get it so I wont be charged for it?

You are correct, the Emperor Edition does not contain the DLC you have to pay for.
So the Emp ed contains some free DLC like the Selucids, but if you want the bood & gore pack/Greek city states etc etc you have to still pay for it. Is that correct?

If you'd kept up with the saga of R2 over the last year you'd know why EE version came out. All part of a long tale about trying to fix it mixed with the usual DLC parade that follows every CA release now. I didn't have the impression at the time CA was trying to be sneaky with this specific release though, it was more on the side of trying to fix a broken game and signify they'd done enough to warrant re-naming it. Of course we can all agree or disagree whether that was in fact the case.
Actually, Emperor Edition is patch 15, with a fancier name. Of course, to be just with the Creative Assembly, it also includes the Augustus Campaign for free, but that's all, no Snake Onagers, Spartanz, decapitations or Teuta.Quote:

Emperor Edition is the equivalent of Rome TW Gold / Shogun TW Warlord Edition - includes all of the content but minus the expansion packs, which are now DLCs.
