Totally legal CD+DVD copy software for totally legal purposes.

I have a large archive of aging optical media that needs backing up. Also, I have a collection of new media from Williams Street that is infested with practical jokes that make it impossible to play my shows in peace. I have looked over DVD cloner and Slysoft. Anyone think highly of either?
