It looks very interesting, though Im waiting for more gameplay before I commit to anything.
Quick summary I found of the Q&A:
- Symmetric start (like in 4x games)
- In the early game it's gonna be more like a 4x but later on it's gonna be more like Europa Universalis.
- Currently the game supports 1000 star systems.
- Randomization of species: "no lore" - in each game you are gonna find a particular history. They want each game to be different.
- There are some inspiration in the Victoria series.
- Ship design

It does look interesting, and I'm sure those that like Paradox games are probably really excited, for me, I've the exact opposite response, because it's Paradox I need to see game play.

PDX can into space!
No really, trailer looks good. I like the fact that the trailer is apparently completely focused on exploring. I'm also a bit concerned about that - few space games ever got that part right.
I'm looking forward to more substantial info.

While not a 4x, if there's anything that No Man's Sky is likely to actually get right it will be space exploration.

Because that is pretty much all you can do in it.. :laugh4:

Exactly. And more often than not games, 4x games for example, try and do more than actually works in terms of gameplay, balance or the AI's ability to manage it.
