Are you playing with the 2.2a patch - that fixed the issue.

In my 2.2b Kart-hadasht campaign enslaving after battle causes a CTD

Too bad. On the dev build I haven't experienced that crash much/at all.

I believe (though I'm not sure, as I offer ransom usually) I didn't get it on my SPQR campaign either. Reloaded a couple times, fought the battle again and got the crash consistently on the SSbQ campaign.
