EB won't launch after factory reset (missing shortcut?)

Hello,

I recently had my laptop repaired and rebooted. I donwnloaded everything onto an external hard drive and reinstalled it.

I've since reinstalled Steam and Vanilla Rome & Barbarian Invasion seems to work fine, and I am even able to pick up my previous saved files due to the copy I made.

I made similar copies for Europa Barbarorum, but I can't test if that works as I can't find a way to launch the game.

I can obviously try and reinstall Europa Barbarorum, but:

1) That seems a lot of effort if I've already backed it up onto an external hard drive.

2) If I do that, what impact will it have on the EB files I've copied and pasted into the program files - from what I can tell, they're in the right place (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rome Total War Gold\EB)

There is a possible solution to reinstall EB and just copy my saved files over from my hard drive, I'm just asking to see if there's an easier way around it.
