I have read the articles, game description etc and the actual time frame is not explicitly stated.
From most of the descriptions, it seems that RTW takes place in Pre-Roman Empire timeline (ie The Republic Era 600 BC to Beginning of Augustus' Reign), is this the time frame, or will it go into the Imperial Age (circa 0 AD to 476 AD, and even further)?
If it does go into Imperial Time frame, why isnt there any mention of the Germanic Tribes (goths, vandals, franks, etc), Huns, Sassanid (persian) empire?
I hope we get to play in the Imperial Age as well, and further, I hope that CA allows the timeline to be modded into the Imperial era and later (dark ages) if they do not go into the Imperial age, because at least for me, Id rather do the later Roman Empire, rather than the Punic Wars
Please let us have the ability to do things up to and past 476 Ad, I would love to at least be able to mod The riegn of Justinian and play the great general Belasarius in his attempt to retake the western empire.
Can anyone in CA give us a headsup into the rough timeframe, and when it will end?
