I read an article about training heirs and so I went practising and I noticed something.
1. If you use inquisters on your heir, his euhm piety goes up. I had it to the max. However, a new v&v arrived saying this man was believed to be a atheist or something. Now how is that if this guy has a piety of max?
2. Any way to improve command level on a heir?
As far as i know it's the same as for any regular general:
- win battles (the first stars are easy to gain but after that it takes a while);
- hope they get a good V&V;
- once they are no longer princes, assign a title that gives a command bonus...
How I've seen it explained before is this: even though the general has passed the inquisition, he's still very upset with the catholic church for putting him through the whole thing in the first place.

i decide to suicide myself in moscow so i turn in that direction.russians retreat everwhere.i turned south to kick Moldavia and Valachia ( byzantines both ) in order to loose.but i finished back in Constantinopole just in time .my son just declare civil war.my 2 best gen ( level 9 )one in greece one in bulgaria took my part ( royal blood ...neh ? http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cg...icons/cool.gif ) and i win the war in no time; i lost only Cyprus just for few years.my sultan regain influence very big after the civil war. i decapitated my son .

Once they are no longer princes, to assign a title? But when they're not a prince anymore, they are a king.Quote:

The princes don't become Royal Generals until their Nephew becomes King, when their brother is the king they are still listed as Princes.
To raise the command level of my heirs, I go destroy a small, weak, meaningless province, then set takes to very high and have no garrison. I get my king and defend the province. When a revolt happens, kill the peasants and camp by the place where reinforcemnts come. The reinforcements should come and immediatly retreat. After you do this a few times, your king will raise his command level. This makes it so your heirs mature into better generals faster. So after a generation, you can have a few heirs with 8-9 stars.
