mariage between factions

as anyone got another nation by mariage? I've had several marriages and some heirs but i never got that.Do i need to kill the heir to celerate my pretensions? http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cg...s/confused.gif

I think you must be married to a pricess and that faction's heirs should be eliminated.

I never experienced it but I'm curious to know.

I'm not complety sure but I think I've had marriages to other fraction's princesses, of which some even folded to rebel states without gaining as much as an province.

Is it meant to work at all??

I have never experienced it. I usually marry my princesses to my top generals to increase loyalty. Im pretty sure if you wanted to inherit land you would have to marry and assinate all heirs then u might get some land.

well ive gined some.. i married thier only prince, killed the king, then killed the prince..... you get a few of thier proviences, but not all

Alrowan -> Is there any kind of demands for getting their land (expect from killing the heirs and king), such as the lands have to be next to yours or something ?

Well the Hungarians sure decided they would take my English Empire one game. I had several Generals with royal blood, most of them married to princesses from other countries but since about 200 years earlier I'd married a prince to a Hungarian princess, he decided my empire was his.

Oddly enough I got to control to of my spies that were still around after the hungarians took over and I watched as within 50 years they lost my entire empire and were wiped out totally as a faction when the king was killed with no heirs.
