Hello Warriors,
This is to let all know that the STW/MI/WE server is still up and running and that all who wish to play should come in around 7pm GMT onwards as there are always players ready and willing for a fight.
As for registering to play online, in my experience, the best way to go about it is to, go to www.Totalwar.org scroll down and on left hand side there is a mi/we registeration link to play online.
Following registeration:
To log-on scroll to your clan name, enter your chosen name (nickname) and enter password (do not select remember password option, I have found logging in without this option selected is quicker); you may get straight in, if you dont get in, no need to panic, just try again until u do (when logging in freezes click left hand corner of page and try again). Also try selecting and de-selecting - use existing internet conection.
Once you have managed to get in, if encountered by an empty room, and your name is not visible on the right hand side of foyer, you will need to log in again. But if you believe people to be present, just host a game and let people know that you are encontering the empty room scenario and would someone join to let you back into the room, players will oblige, following the game you will be visible in the foyer.

Heres my reply to a question I had recently:
Right then, I just registered and created a player name, no problem.
This is what I did.
First register, once registeration is complete (remember your username and p/w) navigate away from site (it easier this way).
Then, from the Org site select register.
This will bring up a link for you to login or register again.
Click link (under shogon face).
This time, login with your username and password.
This will display a page with 4 links:
Select "Continue"
and you will end up where you can create a online identity
(please make a note of passwords and clan names etc).
You can select a different password for your player ID, and same applies for your Clan password, as for family name select the first one, your less likely to forget it (Akechi).
if you dont first succeed try again.
Might seem confusing but will make sense when your actually going through the process.
I hope these tips help.

A visitor from the Far East Welcome to our humble forums ShinKansuke. We don't get many visitors such as yourself any more. But there was a time...
Thank you for the detailed information on logging in to the old Shogun servers. I know things are even more unreliable than they were in the game's hayday, so information like yours is difficult to come by. And we do get the occassional question with login problems. BTW, I do know at one time old Shogun players were getting together on Sundays to play. Check out the Sword Dojo forum. There is a post in there somewhere.

Yes I make regular visits to the Sword Dojo and ultimately my goal is to be able to post in there.
The Sunday (SOS - be a Sam On Sundays) meeting on MI/WE has been going strong for several months now and alot of the vets make brief but, welcome appearences, we usually get a good crowd in there (15-20 warriors for several hours, from 6-7PM GMT onwards).
The Sunday meetings have also kick-started the attendees in the weekdays, we may not get the numbers that visit MTW, but for instance there were 15-20 players (this was constant for 4-5 hours 7 -12pm GMT)in MI/WE, last night
We have alot of dedicated MI/WE players and hopefully with abit more air time, and and dispelling any premature rumours of the games on-line demise, we'll get a few more.
Oh yes, we been getting alot of the MTW players coming back,
last night, Fearful Ways, The Wolves, Aggony, 7Bear7 and of course ShinKage Clans were there, not bad hey.

Called in to meet the Shogun warriors a couple of days ago.
Enjoyed the battle we had in that 3 v 3.
Pity I could only stay for the one battle.
Called in last Sunday 1.00-1.30pm but I was on my own.
Will come again this coming Sunday....sharpens sword ready....

Nice to hear from you. I know you been trying out MTW lately
(I've also made some sorties into MTW). Try and come in a little later Jochi, when the majority of the Euro boys (and gals) come in (6-7PM GMT), when these guys start to leave (around midnight) the north American contingent kicks in.
Yes Gregoshi, do it, get that samurai armour on, and make an appearance on Sunday (be a sam).
BTW, saw a Twin Tger for the first time, this Sunday. (TigerAttending).

Great wished I read this before I tried logging on this morning. I try to go in via the game as in MTW but all it said was 'logging on' for like half an hour. I ll try again sunday so hope you vets will teach a noob some tricks.

The good thing about Sunday is you see alot of the vets and are gauranteed an excellent battle.

well sad but true, My CD for the Mongol Invasion just broke in middle. If i get my hands on my younger brother or my nephew blood will flow trough. Tosa ansd Majestic are regular visitors again, was also nice to see Lord Ted this week, Sunday by far is the best day, then again 6-7pm GMT anynite is good.
