Does anyone ever bother with Arqs. or do you just wait for Musks?

whatever i can get by not going christian. this usually means buying an enemy army off that has guns already in it.

If you do go Christian, there's no point waiting to build a gun factory - one should make use of all available resources, and arquies aren't all that bad when all your opponent has is low-honor troops.

I don't like playing Christian...I think the WM are worth waiting for the Dutch to arrive.

As I point out in a recent post http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/Forum1/HTML/002272.html, there IS a valid point of going christian AND building gun factory.

You end up with armored muskets with extra honor bonus.
