With the Vikings Expansion we got Armored Spearmen, and these now appear in a lot of armies in MP.
How do you prepare/upgrade these guys? Do they need to be V4 like Byz Inf? Do you give them more armor?
Do you use them in 3, 4, or 5 rows in combat?
BTW, I go with straight V3 or V4, depending on florin level, 4 deep, set on Hold Form/Hold Position.
