My brother was trying to alter the names file (totalwar/campmap/names/defaul~1.txt) to create a hero. He failed. Between the two of us, we had the prescence of mind to create a back-up copy. I overwrote the altered file with the back-up copy. This should have worked but it did not. We need a copy of the names file (the one for MTW 2.0 and NOT the one for VI) and I was hoping someone might e-mail it to me.

Please confirm you want the MTW 1.1 version?
And which email address?
If there is a difference between the MTW 1.1 version and the MTW 2.0 version, then I need MTW 2.0. I'll be checking my Yahoo account...

I'll also mention that I was finally able to update the drivers for my brothers computer. Took a while to get through the maze of technical support (Gateway) but I finally did it. I'm happy to say that that the map is now stable...when you can see it. The map has an annoying habit of being replaced with a black screen. The Byzantine Emperor now appears to have mastered space travel.
