there are about 10 people here plus about 20 guests and 1 or 2 in all the other forums
modding is time consuming,
on a normal weekday you only have a couple of free hours between work and sleep,
if you are going hard core on a mod you use most of that time editing,
saturday is usually a good day to visit the forums because we have more time available and can spend a little while researching answers to questions, and take a break from making our mods to read how some of the other mods are going

The truth of the matter is that many modders enjoy the normal Friday night alcoholic celebrations, and (if resident in the UK) after the obligatory 11.30pm curry go home, crack open a can or two, and carry on modding in their inubriated state.
Having fallen asleep at the PC, Saturday morning reveals the extent to which they have further cocked things up and hence the frantic scramble to "The Dungeon" in a rather vain (and whilst still being in a somewhat hungover state) attempt to ellicit an answer to the previous nights stupidity

well i wasn't drinking, but i did fall asleep at pc friday night and awoke to a busted up unit prod file that i must have written between "Z's" http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cg...icons/wave.gif
worst time to mod is when you've just been at lan for 25 hours and you decide before you go to bed you'll do a couple of repairs to the startpos file (this after about two drinks an hour at the lan) you type for 4 hrs or so and wake up in 7 hrs time to find that you have deleated the faction you just took a week to add and all cavalry stats are about a million and they are as uber as hell and read the papers next to your comp saying "got sick of the dutch ill just delete them, cavalry are too weak in the game need to be better."
