What era should I be for my campaign

All right I posted a poll to see if you guys would be interested in me writing about my single player campaign. The votes from the main hall and here went something like

So I'll do it and I'll let you guys decide, first what era and second what faction I will be (that poll will be after this one)

First era that gets 10 votes is the one I will play in.

Write about the era you know the most about. And write it from the perspective you best understand. In other words, if you are a student, or a chemist, write about the battle from point of view. I kid you not. The truth you know will be reflected in your story and the reader will pick up on it and enjoy it more.

Another of the golden rules: write what you know.
