Small provinces cause CTD's

Hey,

I know that small provinces cause CTD's because castles overlap, but does it crash:

A. Because the graphics of the castles themself are overlapping or

B. Because the boundaries of the BIF, 144x210 pixels, are overlapping.

If A, then it would be possible to make the castles smaller, like the STW castles, and thus able to make the provinces smaller as opposed the larger needed provinces in normal MTW because of the larger Castle graphics. And that will certainly have its uses.
